The Parish Council is delighted to have received a donation to the village of a commemorative seat
from a resident. Daphne Threadgold-Reay, whose forebears fought and died during the Great War, has donated the seat in memory of her family members and all those who died. To hear her story, read the next edition of NE43 News. The seat (pictured) has been installed at the War Memorial and can be seen with knitted poppies featuring stories of some of those who lost their lives during the conflict.
