The Parish Council meets on the first Monday of every month (except August when no meeting is held) or on the second Monday of any month where the first Monday is a Bank Holiday. All residents are welcome to attend each meeting and time is always set aside at the beginning of the meeting for members of the public to raise issues that concern them. The agenda for the next meeting will be posted here during the week before the meeting, together with the meeting papers in respect of non-confidential matters.
Meetings start at 7.30pm and are held in the Community Centre, Mount View Terrace, Stocksfield.
In view of the current restrictions imposed to minimise the spread of Covid-19, there is no set schedule for future meetings of the Parish Council.
The Parish Council's next meeting is scheduled for 7.30pm on Monday 1 June 2020. Unlike all previous meetings, this meeting will be conducted remotely using video conferencing and will be streamed live on the Council's Facebook page. This will ensure that the press and any members of the public who would otherwise have been able to attend a physical meeting can listen and view the proceedings as it happens. Streaming will be activated after 7.25pm and before the meeting commences. A link to the Council's Facebook page can be found on this website.
As usual, there will be a 15 minute section at the start of the meeting when the Council will consider any issues raised by members of the public. Unlike normal meetings, any issues for discussion must be emailed in advance to the Clerk (at least by 4.30pm on the day of the meeting).
