The Parish Council is responsible for Stocksfield Sports Fields, located adjacent to Broomley First School. The western field is owned outright by the Parish Council and the eastern field is leased from Allendale Estates. Stocksfield Cricket Club owns the cricket pavilion. The sports fields consist of the following marked pitches:
Senior football, under 15 football, under 12 football, under 10 football and senior rugby.
Three local teams, Stocksfield Cricket Club, Stocksfield Football Club and Prudhoe and Stocksfield Rugby Union Football Club, use the pitches under separate agreements with the Council. The Council meets with representatives of the clubs through the Sports Field User Group, the terms of reference of which can be found here.
The Council will hire football and rugby pitches to other clubs and a separate policy and procedure exists for such use. The policy can be found on the Council's Policy Documents (click here). Please note that the application procedure must be followed. Requests to use the cricket pitches should be directed to the cricket club.
The Multi Use Games Area (MUGA) is located within the sports fields.

The Multi Use Games Area (MUGA) can be booked for use by contacting the Cricket Club in the evenings, either by calling in or by phone, 01661 842902 or 01661 842836.

10 % Discount available for block bookings. Block Bookings = 10 or more sessions when paid in advance. Special daytime rates for community groups & schools.
Changing Facilities: Changing facilities are available evenings and weekends or by prior arrangement (check when booking) for £4 per session.
Emergency: In the event of an emergency a telephone and first aid equipment are available in the Cricket Clubhouse.
